Tech. Sgt. Robert B. Klepzig
A son of the late Brig. Robert Klepzig, who had charge of the Salvation Army Men's Social
Center in Military Road, was killed over Germany April 7. Tech. Sgt. Robert B. Klepzig's
mother lives at 327 Bedford Ave. and his wife in Verona, New Jersey. Sgt. Klepzig was
employed by J.N. Adam & Co. before he entered the service in July 1942. He had won the
Air Medal with three Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters. Besides his wife and mother, surviving are
five sisters, Miss Irene Klepzig, Mrs. John Amigone, Mrs. Victor Millonzi, Mrs. Roy Arnold
and Mrs. Peter Ambrosone. A memorial service will be held at 8 o'clock Sunday evening in
the Salvation Army Citadel at 13 East Mohawk Street.

A radio operator and gunner on a Liberator Bomber who wore the Air Medal with three
Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, Tech. Sgt. Robert B. Klepzig, 23, was killed over Germany April
7. Sgt. Klepzig , whose wife lives in New Jersey, had been overseas since October. Son of
Mrs. Julia M. Klepzig of 327 Bedford Avenue, he attended high school in Kearny, N.J., and
entered the service in February 1943. Besides his wife and mother, the flier is survived by
five sisters, Miss Irene A. Klepzig, Mrs. Elsie Arnold, Mrs. Emilie I. Amagon, Mrs. Bertha M.
Millonzi and Mrs. Pearl V. Ambrosone. Memorial services will be held Sunday evening at 8
o'clock in the Salvation Army Headquarters, 11 East Mohawk Street.
